This book is a drafting/editing guide for journalists, newspaper editors, lawyers, judges, politicians, researchers, writers, authors, literary figures, media professionals in general, secretarial and public relations departments, translators, and proofreaders, who are the last line of defense before any book, newspaper, or magazine is printed. This book was not written for the editor to transform a worn-out text into a solid one. We believe that the editor will not produce a solid text unless the original text is well-written, or at least acceptable, because many texts reach a stage of deterioration at which it is difficult for the editor to rebuild them.
