Farewell to loved ones

They are some of Egypt’s manifestations, the faces of its multifaceted glory and chapters of its history, rich in chapters. They are it and they are nothing but them. It is impossible for one of them to be separated from the other, even if calamities and distant exiles separate them. They are slices of the flesh of its artistic, intellectual, literary, political and social history. Each slice includes, in addition to its own history, the history of its art, the momentum of its era, the nectar of its juice. They are separate, connected links, in need of introductions that draw a link and create some kind of connection.”
