A palace with firm foundations and lofty peaks, its roots resting on a high eminence of the earth, and its domes rose in the air as if seeking something in the sky, camouflaged by the freshness, and the evening shone upon it, sending out a ray that was more beautiful than the evening, and more splendid than pure freshness, and the flowers fluttered with it, wonderful in color, musky in scent, and the breeze played with them, so they began to hide in their sleeves as if they were beautiful maidens, afraid of betraying the eyes and the curiosity of lovers, and the poplar trees swayed as if the chirping of the birds above them moved them, so they began to steal the melodies and keep pace with the ringing of the rhythm
