When the husbands returned to their homes after the cafes had closed, blinded by the tea and table services, they found the houris in their wives' places. They were not surprised, but rather raised their hands in thanks to God who had accepted their offerings and hastened their reward in the afterlife. The houris tried to escape, but they failed. The men did not listen to their conversation, mistaking it, as usual, for women's chatter. Each man ordered his houri to prepare dinner, wash his socks, and fix a broken button on every shirt.
