About
Dermaphoria is a state of ecstasy caused by the stimulation of one's skin.
Here we meet Eric Ashworth, the genius, half-mad chemist, who is indispensable in the drug market because he invented a terrible drug called "Skin" or "The Touch."
The story begins with this chemist who has lost his memory after a fire destroyed his lab. He appears to have lost his chemical knowledge as a result, but no one believes this, or even risks believing it. The police besiege him with questions, the lawyer advises him to keep quiet, and drug dealers pursue him. But he has one glimmer of his old world: the name of a girl named "Desiree." Using this glimmer, he tries to retrieve the part of his memory that was burned away.
