Does time repeat itself, and do stories repeat themselves exactly without any differences?
Two people may be born at different times, grow up in two nearby places, and have similar circumstances and characteristics, to the point that people compare them as if they were one image, but each of their lives takes a different turn from the other, despite the intersections.
This is what happened at Qasr al-Aini Faculty of Medicine in the late 1950s and late 1970s, when the story repeated itself with different characters and contexts, but with the same roles. Will the ending be the same, or will the changing circumstances of the time, and the major events that Egypt experienced during that period, have a different outcome?
