Why doesn't he admit that he practiced shameful deception in everything he did to keep her, not out of fear for her from the guns of the devils, or the blades of the knives, but because he was unable to part with her? Because the lost homeland did not become a restored homeland except with her presence, because she is the embodiment of the spirit of the homeland, as much as she is the embodiment of the affliction that has befallen the homeland? Doesn't this mean that he does not love God's camel as he should, but rather that he loves himself in God's camel?
