Causality and Chance in Modern Physics

For centuries, causality was the theology that governed science, and the engine that drove the wheel of scientific wonders that dazzled the world and made human life a better and more prosperous life, and thus pushed the human mind into new circles of research and curiosity. It became the machine that lifted the veil from much of the mystery and thus forced it to look deeper into nature and life. While the law of chance lay in the foggy background, and was looked at With suspicion as an incidental event on the nature of our understanding of this world, a deep and insightful look led to more appreciation and interest in the law of chance. Little by little, and with the tremendous scientific achievement in the field of quantum mechanics at the beginning of the twentieth century, it seemed that there was a conflict appearing on the horizon between the two principles. Should science generalize the law of causality, considering that the law of chance is an incidental event of causality? Or should the law of chance be generalized, considering that the law of causality is an exceptional incident of chance? In all its achievements, quantum physics confirms the importance of the statistical nature of science. Hence the law of chance... while humanity cannot forget that the great push in science began with causality.
