It was narrated from Imam al-Habib Ahmad ibn Hasan al-Attas, may God have mercy on him, that he said: “Whoever has collected commentaries has not collected anything except “Al-Bajuri’s Commentary.”
It is a footnote, or rather an explanation, or rather a silent teacher who guides you to the paths of explanation without effort.
He guides you through the intricacies of the issues with insight and intelligence, simplifying the explanation so that you find it enriching, and providing reasoning and evidence so that you find yourself on the clear path. Because this commentary possesses these qualities, and because its author is deeply versed in the hidden nuances of Ibn al-Qasim's commentary, and because Dar al-Minhaj al-Mubarakah is always at the forefront of what is of widespread benefit to humanity, it has been keen to publish it in this excellent manner, God willing, meticulously researched and verified, surrounded by care and attention.
God Almighty facilitated its comparison with precious and valuable copies, comparing it letter by letter with the author’s copy, and it was compared again and again, so that it would come out with God Almighty’s help in this splendid form.
And the wonderful edition is what delights the hearts of lovers of knowledge and scholars.
