Al-Wafi fi Sharh Al-Shatibiyyah fi Al-Qira'at Al-Sab' is a concise commentary on the Lamiyyah poem by Abu Al-Qasim ibn Firruh Al-Shatibi (died: 590 AH), famously known as Al-Shatibiyyah. It deciphers its symbols, reveals its treasures, unlocks its obscurities, specifies its generalities, elaborates its summaries, clarifies its difficulties, removes its ambiguities, and unveils the meanings of its expressions and the subtleties of its allusions, using a distinctive modern style characterized by excellent organization, clarity, and focus, along with ease of comprehension, precision of expression, and elegance of language. He wrote it for students of Al-Azhar institutes in Egypt and for other students of Qira'at institutes who are required to study the text of Al-Shatibiyyah. This book is by the learned author: Abdul Fattah Al-Qadi, may Allah have mercy on him.
