Our Master Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “If our hearts were pure, we would never be satisfied with the words of our Lord. I hate for a day to pass without me looking at it in the Qur’an.” He spoke the truth. How beautiful is living with the Qur’an if we contemplate it. How abundant are its blessings and how pleasant are its breaths if we contemplate it. How happy we will be—in this world and the next—if we follow it! This book is a collection of blessings and breaths from the Noble Qur’an that illuminates the path for those who seek God, Lord of the Worlds. It enables us to distinguish between worldly deeds and deeds required for the hereafter. It enables us to distinguish between the deeds of this world and those required for the hereafter. It enables us to hasten to do good and to do the affairs of the hereafter, and it exposes us to the vastness of forgiveness and mercy and the great bliss of Paradise. We hope that our Lord will guide us to Him and to His straight path.
