Shadow Phantoms

In “Shadow Phantoms,” we are faced with a game of assumptions and imaginings, the orchestrator of which is not entirely clear: Camellia? Olga? Or an unseen narrator who moves everyone between real and imaginary cities, delving into the memories of characters resembling communicating vessels? A narrative formed from the interplay between consciousness and memory, dream and reality, past and present in an exciting narrative game; a game of writing—or “correspondence”—interspersed with stories and accounts written by characters accustomed to exchanging their tales, desiring to plunge into the dark wells of memories, or seeking to interpret a present moment, or to touch the experience of pain that besieges everyone like an obsession or a nightmare. From a wooden bench on the bank of the Vltava River in Prague, a box of stories opens, from which a narrative of diverse cultural heritage is woven.
