These are not new poems by a deceased poet. This is a selected collection of poetry that has not faded with the passing of its author. Nizar Qabbani left behind a great many poems. Poems that served as a source and reference for all Arabs. From them, they drew words for their songs, verses for their love stories, and fervor for their patriotism. In this new collection, we have selected from what was left behind poems that we publish by theme across four axes, introduced by stars in the worlds of Arabic literature, music, and journalism. This collection of Nizar's poems, "The Lover of Words," is introduced by the Bahraini poet Barween Habib, a specialist in "his words," who holds a master's degree with distinction in Arabic literature and stylistic studies in Nizar Qabbani's poetry from Ain Shams University in Cairo.
