He holds a fellowship from the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the United Kingdom and a fellowship from the Royal College of Internal Medicine in Ireland. He has worked as a consultant and director of the psychiatric training program in Abu Dhabi since 2010. He has published "On Freedom in the Holy Quran" and "On the Spirit, Soul, and Knowledge in the Holy Quran" with Dar Al Saqi.
