For decades, Ibrahim Nasrallah remained a poet, blowing melodies into a flute of melodies beyond criticism. As the late Dr. Ihsan Abbas said, "He traversed many stages and traced the evolution of his poetry along a path that extended and detoured." As for the novel, Nasrallah charted a different path for himself, delving into memory and societal development through comprehensive novelistic projects that accompanied many historical turning points, especially those related to the Palestinian cause and the epic of a people who remained steadfast in their land and rights. Today, Beirut publishes the poetic works of the poet and novelist Ibrahim Nasrallah in three volumes, including his collections published between 1980, which he opened with his collection "Horses on the Outskirts of the City," and 2017, which saw the publication of his collection "Love is Evil." Over these long decades, Nasrallah's experience witnessed many transformations in its diverse aesthetic and intellectual choices, starting from the normal-length poem, to the very short poem, to which he devoted four poetic works, passing through the biographical and epic poem, and arriving at the operatic work. In all of these works, the poet benefited in his experience from the techniques of narrative fiction, cinema, photography, painting, philosophy, and other artistic, intellectual, and existential concerns. Nasrallah received many awards that honored his poetic creativity, such as the "Sultan Al Owais Award for Arabic Poetry 1997," the "Arar" Award for Poetry, and the Best Poetry Collection Award three times for three of his poetry collections. His experience was also addressed by a large number of doctoral and master's theses, and his poems were translated into several international languages.
