In 2010, Manolia joined the Ginza Research Committee as a member, translating important and rare documents and manuscripts buried by Jews in their cemeteries centuries ago. These documents reveal much about Jewish life, culture, and plans. This could have been an ordinary experience for a young widow like the other members of the committee. But fate would have it that it turned out to be one of the strangest experiences a person could undergo, one that could drive him to madness or death. In 1949, Ezra Cohen decided to write important chapters of his life. Writing memoirs hadn't occupied his mind, but in this prison camp, which he described as "this tiny, isolated area of the world was able to do what the wider world could not do," he found that what he had accomplished in his life was worth recording. He was one of the most important members of the Zionist movement in the Middle East. Ezra recounts in detail the emergence of the Brethren of Zion and how, in just a few years, it became one of the most important Zionist movements, a major factor in the occupation of Palestine. Ezra's activism to realize the Zionist dream did not stop after the 1948 war, but continued after that until Madiha appeared in his life, drying the champagne glasses in the royal palace. Only then did his life turn upside down!! In 1165, a ship coming from the city of Acre landed in the port of Alexandria carrying the wise man and philosopher Moses Maimonides. His final destination was Fustat, after fleeing with his family from the religious persecution of the Jews in Andalusia to several countries. In the city of Fustat, Moses was able to become one of the greatest and most famous doctors and philosophers in the Arab and Western worlds. His works were translated into all languages, and students of knowledge and science from all over the world flocked to his scholarly council. Despite this, he and his works were subjected to much distortion, fabrication, and hatred from his own people. Was the reason for this his influence by Muslim philosophers, an influence that appeared strongly in many of his works, especially his most important work (The Guide of the Perplexed)? And I wonder what the secret behind the disappearance of the original manuscript from the library of Moses Maimonides' temple after his death? The events of the novel (Night Train to Tel Aviv) revolve around three main axes. While they may not be directly related, they are linked to each other, in one way or another, through complex relationships, intertwined events, and extended roots. All of this raises questions, some of which the novel answers, while others remain open to facts that have not yet been resolved, and perhaps will never be.
