In this novel, Iman Hamad uses the discourse addressed to a former lover as a technique to wrap the events of her novel. It is based on the speaker-addressee dialectic in which she tells the story of "Abdul Aziz," the novel's hero and narrator, and then the speaker-absent dialectic when she tells the story of "Anoud," the teenage girl who let her lover down at the first opportunity to marry, and began building her own world isolated from the laws and conventions of love. Here the question arises: Did the writer want to present a rebellious femininity or a masculinity that is different from the relationship between men and women, and what message did she want to send to the lovers? In a language that is poetic par excellence, she finds her calling in the easy, yet difficult word that denotes the spirit of meaning; which reaches its height with beautiful metaphors that tend toward absolute romanticism. Thus, her lovers are unlike all lovers, and her novel is unlike all novels. We read from it:
