Let us assume that, like all the inhabitants of your town, you are ignorant of everything about us that exists above the rocky layers beneath which you live, and that you do not believe a word of what your ancestors tell us about the existence of a world completely different from your world somewhere above. Let us assume that in the midst of your boring life, you find a time capsule left behind by some fool centuries ago, confidently imagining that someone will find it and open it after a thousand years have passed.
