Know, O Muslim, that Allah – Glory be to Him – has made it obligatory upon all His servants to enter Islam, adhere to it, and beware of what contradicts it. He sent His Prophet Muhammad – may God bless him and grant him peace – to call people to that. He – the Almighty – informed us that whoever follows him has been guided, and whoever turns away from him has gone astray. He warned in many verses against the causes of apostasy and all other types of polytheism and disbelief. The scholars – may God have mercy on them – mentioned in the chapter on the ruling on the apostate that a Muslim may abandon his religion for many types of nullifiers that make his blood and wealth permissible, and because of them he is outside of Islam. The Sheikh – may God have mercy on him – explained some of these nullifiers. Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan explained them.
