At a time when Egypt was a country divided between north and south, when shepherds invaded, defeated its pharaoh, and occupied part of it. This is the time when our novel, "Queen of the Dawn," takes place. Pharaoh Khibera is killed in battle, shortly after giving birth to his daughter, Nefera. But before this event, his wife, Queen Rima, has a dream that prophesies the murder of her husband, the future of her daughter, her husband's killer, and Egypt. In this dream, she sees Hathor and Isis, blessing her daughter and glorifying this child. Queen Rima decides to flee to her father, Ditana, King of Babylon, but she dies before arriving, leaving her daughter in the care of a Sufi brotherhood living in the pyramids, accompanied by the nurse and priestess, Kimme. It is a story between the cities of Memphis and Thebes; it is the victory of good over evil, the victory of love over revenge, and faith over disobedience.
