In the cardboard huts of the most destitute residential neighborhood in Nzara, South Sudan, Louis Noa grows up to a miserable childhood. The young man, who works in a textile factory, decides to marry the first smiling girl he sees: Tina, a street water seller. She will become his wife. But the simple worker soon betrays her with a maid at a hostel for the poor in Kinshasa. One hot afternoon, Ebola, the deadly virus that has struck the Congo, stalks Noa's body and inhabits his blood. The African boy leaves for his country after a sad journey to the Congo, unknowingly becoming a bridge across which the deadly disease crosses to Nzara. Through the idea of ​​a possible murder, Amir Tag Elsir explores strange worlds, trying to find an ordinary city with streets and shops, nightclubs and brothels, marriages and divorces, and love stories both complete and incomplete.
