Many researchers and orientalists have described and praised this book, studying, verifying, and publishing it in whole or in parts. It has been translated into several languages, including Latin, and sections of it have been published due to their extreme importance, such as the section on anatomy, which was printed alongside similar works by Avicenna's Canon and Ali ibn Abbas's Kitab al-Kamil.
