In a way, men are still from Mars and women are from Venus, and many of the ideas presented in my first book are still valid today. But – with more freedom to express ourselves, we need a new set of skills to make our relationships successful, and this book will teach you these skills. The fact that women work alongside men and men take on more responsibilities at home does not mean they are equal. Our roles are undoubtedly changing, but we are still fundamentally different biologically. Because men and women are different, we respond to changes in our roles in incorrect ways, ways that our partners often misunderstand and misinterpret.
