Al-Mutayyam 11 - Who started the aggression? Written by Nour Al-Huda Al-Jammal... In the tenth part, we discussed the issue of slavery and how Islam abolished this system with a well-established methodology. Then we discussed the issue of the jizya tax that Islam imposed on non-Muslims. This issue has been misunderstood by some, who have failed to understand Islam's objective in imposing it. We then concluded the section by discussing the rights of the People of the Covenant (Ahl al-Dhimma) under Islamic law. Part Eleven, in which we will present a brief analytical overview of the confrontations (raids and expeditions) that took place between the Islamic camp and other camps that strove to extinguish the light that God had permitted to be spread throughout the universe. In this overview, we will explain how the conflict began, who initiated it, the motives behind each of these camps, the types of confrontations the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) waged against these brutal camps, and the Messenger of God's (peace and blessings be upon him) purpose behind each of these confrontations.
Al-Mutayyam 12 - The Stage of the Emergence of Unrest and Disturbances Written by Nour Al-Huda Al-Jammal... In the previous part (eleventh), we took a brief analytical look at the confrontations (raids and expeditions) that took place between the Islamic camp and other camps that insisted on clashing and refused to live in the shadow of peace that the religion of Islam sought for all of humanity. In this overview, we have explained how the conflict began, the motives behind each of these camps, and the strategy the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) adopted with each of them. In this twelfth part and the following parts, we begin to narrate the events that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, experienced after the blessed migration, and how the series of confrontations began between him and everyone who stood in the way of this call, whose sole purpose is to achieve happiness for all servants in this world and the hereafter. We will analyze these confrontations in detail, and explain their causes and results. In this section, we begin by narrating the events of the first and second years of the Prophet's Hijrah, beginning with Hamzah ibn Abd al-Muttalib's expedition to the sea coast—the first confrontation that took place in the first Hijri year—until the Battle of al-Suwayq, which took place in the month of Dhul-Hijjah in the second year of the Prophet's Hijrah, peace and blessings be upon him. Then we will complete the journey in narrating the events that took place after the Prophet’s migration, peace and blessings be upon him, to the luminous city of Medina. We will discuss the events of the third and fourth years of the blessed Prophetic migration, starting with the Battle of Dhu Amar in the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal of the third year, until the Battle of Badr al-Maw’id, which took place in the month of Dhu al-Awwal. Al-Qadah of the fourth year of the Hijra
Al-Mutayyam 13 - The Stage of Confrontation Written by Nour Al-Huda Al-Jammal... In the twelfth part, we talked about the events of the third and fourth years of the blessed Prophetic Hijra, starting with the Battle of Dhu Amar in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal of the third year, until the Battle of Badr al-Maw'id, which took place in the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah of the fourth year of the Hijra. In front of you is the thirteenth part of the book “Al-Mutayyam,” in which we continue our analysis of the events that took place after the Prophet’s migration to Medina. In this part, we will mention the events that took place in the fifth year of the Hijra, starting with the Battle of Dumat al-Jandal, which took place in the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal of this year, until the expedition of Abdullah ibn Atik for the murder of Abu Rafi' Sallam ibn Abi al-Haqiq the Jew in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. We will then discuss the events of the sixth year of the Hijra, beginning with Muhammad ibn Maslama's expedition to al-Qarta', which took place in the month of Muharram of that year, and continuing through the dispatch of letters to the kings. Where the processions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out, carrying glad tidings and the lights of guidance, through letters and speeches sealed with his seal (peace and blessings be upon him) to the kings. We began these messages with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) letter to Heraclius, the Emperor of Rome. The Messenger of Allah's (peace and blessings be upon him) ambassador who carried this message was Dihya al-Kalbi. Then the letter of the Prophet ﷺ to the Negus, King of Abyssinia. This letter was sent with Amr ibn Umayya ad-Damri. Then the letter of the Prophet ﷺ to al-Muqawqis, King of Egypt. The bearer of this letter was Hatib ibn Abi Balta'ah. Then the letter of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Kisra, the king of Persia. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent this letter with Abdullah ibn Hudhafah.
Al-Mutayyam 14 - The Call Makes Its Way to Globalization Written by Nour Al-Huda Al-Jammal ... We concluded the thirteenth part by talking about the stage of sending messages to kings; where the processions of messengers of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, set out carrying good tidings and lights of guidance, through messages and letters sealed with his seal, may God bless him and grant him peace, to the kings. We began these letters with the Prophet’s letter to Heraclius, the Emperor of Rome, then the Prophet’s letter to the Negus, King of Abyssinia, then the Prophet’s letter to Muqawqis, King of Egypt, then the Prophet’s letter to Khosrau, King of Persia. This is the fourteenth part, in which we review the events of the seventh year of the Prophet's migration, peace and blessings be upon him, beginning with the Battle of Dhu Qarad or al-Ghabah, which took place in the month of Muharram, and ending with the expedition of Ibn Abi al-Awja al-Sulami to Banu Sulaym in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. Then we live with the events of the eighth year of the blessed Prophet’s migration to Medina, beginning with the expedition of Ghalib ibn Abdullah al-Laythi to Banu al-Mulawwah in the month of Safar, until the expedition of al-Tufayl ibn Amr al-Dawsi to demolish the idol of Dhul-Kafayn.
Al-Mutayyam 15 - Perhaps I will not meet you after this year, by Nour Al-Huda Al-Jammal... In the fourteenth part, we talked about the events of the eighth year of the Hijra, starting with the expedition of Ghalib bin Abdullah Al-Laythi to Banu Al-Mulawwah in the month of Safar, until the expedition of Al-Tufayl bin Amr Al-Dawsi to demolish the idol of Dhul-Kafayn. This is the fifteenth part of the book “Al-Mutayyam,” in which we talk About the events that took place in the ninth year of the Hijra, beginning with the expedition of Uyaynah ibn Hisn against Banu Tamim in the month of Muharram of that year, until the stage of the Prophet’s reception of the delegations. After the conquest of Mecca in the eighth year of the Hijra, the conclusion of the Battle of Tabuk, and the fall of the last strongholds resisting the Islamic state, delegations came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from every direction, desiring to enter Islam. The number of these delegations exceeded sixty that year, as historical sources mention. We will briefly mention the most important of these delegations, beginning with the Thaqif delegation in Ramadan of the ninth year of the Prophet's Hijra, and ending with the Himyarite delegation from Yemen at the end of that year. Then we conclude our journey around the biography of our Master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, living in it with the events of the tenth and eleventh years of the Prophet’s migration, may God bless him and grant him peace, beginning with the expedition of Khalid ibn al-Walid to Banu al-Harith ibn Ka’b in Najran in Rabi’ al-Akhir of the tenth year of the Hijra, until the illness of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his death on Monday, the second of Muharram. The tenth of Rabi` al-Awwal, the eleventh year of the Hijra, and he, may God bless him and grant him peace, had completed sixty-three years, and the events that followed that; Such as the one that took place in Saqifah Banu Sa'idah until the pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq was completed as the first caliph of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Then, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq faced the tribulations that followed the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, such as the tribulation of those who withheld zakat and the apostates. Through this journey, we have tried to present the biography of our Master, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, in an easy and simple style that reflects the truth of this great religion and highlights the supreme goal of the mission of the Seal of the Messengers. Our Master Muhammad ibn Abdullah - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family and companions - asking God Almighty to bless this work and to benefit the servants and the country through it.
