Hadith Qudsi is an Islamic term that refers to words spoken by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) but whose meaning originates from Allah. According to Islamic scholars, it comes either through inspiration, a true dream (for prophets), or an intuition. It differs from the Quran, which was revealed in both its wording and meaning through divine revelation. It holds a position between the Quran and the Prophetic Hadith, meaning it is lower in rank than the Holy Quran but higher than the Prophetic Hadith, and it is not recited during prayer.
