The story of our world begins with telling the story of the science that brought us to know it. When did the story of science begin? Who were its first heroes? Why did it falter and its light fade? How did it take off again? Who are the heroes who contributed to that launch? How did the story of science contribute to building the world we live in today? What is the structure of matter? How was it formed? What is the story of our understanding of it? How was our universe born? What stages has it passed through? What is the story of our knowledge of this? What is the story of the basic structures of the universe, from galaxies to stars, all the way to our solar system and its planets? What is the story of Earth? How was it formed?
