In the late period of the Zaidi Imamate in Sana'a and the British occupation of Aden, an alliance between Yemeni tribal sheikhs and some religious scholars led to the domination of both parties over a vulnerable population and another marginalized group known as Akhdam or Ubaid. Some of these people attempted to rebel against their status quo, but were met with repression and severe brutality. Those who did fled to the dense forests of the surrounding mountains, where they began their resistance. They regrouped and launched nighttime attacks on the sheikhs' farms. In the late stage of Zaidi Imamate in Sana'a and the British occupation in Aden, a binding alliance between Yemeni tribal leaders and some religious scholars results in the dominance of both parties over a vulnerable population and another marginalized group referred to as "Akhdam" or slaves. Some of these individuals attempt to rebel against their reality, only to be met with repression and severe brutality. Those who manage to escape seek refuge in the dense forests of the surrounding mountains, where they begin to form their resistance. They organize their ranks and initiate nocturnal attacks on the tribesmen's farms. Initially, these attacks succeed in destabilizing the power of the tribal leaders and their allies among the religious scholars, but the challenge is difficult, as the alliance between tribe and religion forms an unbreakable bond, similar to the forbidden love between a free Adeni man and a woman from the Akhdam...
