Nasserist and Ba'athist wars

This book addresses four problems that fragment and undermine Arab entities: the ambiguity and confusion surrounding the concepts of Arab nationalism and Islam; the ongoing conflict and antagonism between secular trends and Islamic movements, and the factors preventing the emergence of a functioning civil society under the dominance of Yemeni Islam; the call for a unified Arab entity; and the crisis of war and Muslims with Israel, including the wars waged by Nasserists, Ba'athists, and Islamic forces, in their interactions with others. These conflicts are described by the author through articles by the writer Mohamed Hassanein Heikal in the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, which he considers outdated, riddled with sharp contradictions, and requiring refutation.
