Blackwater

It has achieved astronomical sales worldwide and will soon be turned into a movie. Blackwater, the resounding, thunderous, and earth-shattering name that evokes terror wherever it is mentioned. It is not so much a book as a wind that exposes everything and reveals everything. This time, it is a secret organization working in secret to bring about the greatest catastrophes, calamities, wars, and even natural disasters in the world. It was launched in North Carolina by founder and multi-millionaire Erik Prince, who embraced the evangelical Catholic movement calling for unity, and supported and funded it. It was transformed into an army of mercenaries to support Christians after the events of September 11. Erik Prince then mobilized this army and threw it into a comprehensive battle raging in Islamic lands, determined by an evangelical president named George W. Bush, whom Prince helped place in the White House. The hidden hands of Blackwater have been tampering with Afghanistan and Iraq, determining their fate for the past decade under the guise of fighting terrorism. In reality, they are plundering wealth, subjugating and crushing people. Blackwater, in short, is a private army controlled by one man: Erik Prince, a right-wing radical and multi-millionaire who served as a major funder not only of President Bush's election campaigns but also of a broader and more dangerous right-wing agenda. Blackwater, the book which has sold more than 110,000 copies in the US and Canada alone, was nominated for the internationally renowned and respected Polk Award.
