xIn this collection, written for her by the Lebanese poet Henri Zoghaib, we recall the cities that Nizar inhabited and that inhabited him. Those cities he loved and that pained him, those for which his ink flowed in love, thus shattering his empire to which he belonged and to which his loyalty was solely for the Arabism that springs from its soil. Nizar Qabbani wrote prolifically, drawing upon the gifts bestowed upon us by the realm of poetry and language. He remained true to himself in all that he wrote, and to himself alone, striving to be the free, accomplished, and prolific poet in more than one field. On the centenary of his birth, we honor his memory by publishing three thematic collections of his poetry.

The cities he loved and that left him wounded, the cities to which he dedicated his life for the sake of his love, and which became his empire, to which he belonged alone, pledging his allegiance only to the Arabism that emanates from the very soil of its cities.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).
