The events of the novel take place during the Syrian revolution/war, portraying 3 stories of three protagonists in their youth, specifically at the beginning of the events. The stories are connected with a thin invisible thread that only becomes evident to the reader at the end. The writer refers to two types of battles. The first type portrays intergenerational battles between fathers and sons, or mothers as depicted in the first story, in a way that suggests that the rebellion against the past begins from the inner circle, that is the family, before it continues to the outer circles, where we meet the second type of battles, when the Syrians spring up to demonstrate. The idea of linking the rebellion against the family and then against power is relatively new in approaching the Syrian events.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
