Samir Geagea - Life and Challenges

From the modern era, specifically during the eighteenth hour with Air Force Commander Samir Geagea, and some research conducted to follow his personal story and define the political and historical context in which it unfolded, Iman Nada Anid has compiled fragments of "The Doctor" (Geagea's nickname), in all its phases: the life of Philemon, his years studying medicine at university in Beirut, the barricades of war, its commercial confrontations and bloody battles, the years of trials and tribulations, to the restoration of freedom and position. These chapters of a turbulent and eventful life are brought together by the author within the covers of a book that summarizes an important and complex period in the history of the civil war, in which Geagea was among the most important players. In addition to its documentary aspect, the book is characterized by less important details about Geagea's life and experience.
