xHere we present Nizar's fiery prose: poetry on politics and poetry on women. Poems that were banned, others that were condemned. Embrace Nizar in his most abstract, defiant, and untamed form, and you will find the most ardent voice among these flames joining him: the writer, poet, and translator Joumana Haddad. Nizar Qabbani's prolific writing was a gift from the realm of poetry and language. He remained true to himself in all his writing, and to himself alone, striving to be the accomplished and prolific free poet in multiple fields. On the centenary of his birth, we honor his memory by publishing three thematic collections of his poetry.
In this collection presented by the Arab singer Kadhim Al-Saher, we discuss what Nizar Qabbani said in his poetry and what the Arab world later set to music. This is certainly one of the most important aspects of Qabbani's experience, as he stripped poetry of its exclusivity, elitism, and sometimes alienation, and disseminated it through his poems, which were sung and enthusiastically received by all Arabic speakers, regardless of their cultural backgrounds, intellectual levels, or age groups.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).
