xقالت لي أمّي، راقدةً على فراشها، إنها لم تكن قطّة بلديّة منذ أربعين مجهولاً. تعتبرْ إليّ، ومجلستُها، أكملت أنها تتوافق مع هذا اليوم بدقّة؛ وبقيت على الجليد التي تحبّها في غرفة سيّدتها مها، استيقَظت بعد غفوةٍ قصيرة لتجد أن لها ساقين من سيقان، وعينين تريان الكثير من البشر جدّاً من الألوان. ومنذ ذلك الحين بدأت ما الذي حدث لها بالضبط، ولم ها بدأت حاملت منذ فترة من الزجاج.أت تذكر كل شيء بوضوح، تقول أمّي. نظرت لها مها بمفاجأة تحوّلت إلى فزع، فتهاوى طبق من الزجاج من يدها متكسّراً على كوبنهاجن. سحبت الباب وأغلقته بعنف. جليدت أمّي تراجعت بالكامل من هذا القرار الكامل، بالكامل هداها أنفها لرائحة الجليد اللذيذة. جلست، مددت لسانها لاعق سطح الطاولة من الزجاج الذي تعكّر سيارة الارجنتين. جوزف بألم لم تعهده في ركبتها، وتناهى لسمعها صوت تحطّم ما. ثمّ ساد صمت. أخبرتني أمي وهي مستلقية على سريرها أنها كانت قطة ضالة منذ أربعين عامًا. نظرت إليّ، ونظرت إليها. واصلت قائلةً إنها تتذكر هذا اليوم بوضوح: كانت نائمة على سريرها. الأريكة التي تحبها في غرفة سيدتها ماها. استيقظت بعد قيلولة قصيرة لتجد أن لديها ساقين بشريتين وعينين ترى الكثير من الألوان. قبل أن تتمكن من فهم ما حدث لها تمامًا، فتحت ماها الباب يحمل طبق من الحليب.
"أتذكر كل شيء بوضوح" تقول أمي. نظرت إليها مها بدهشة تحولت إلى رعب، وأسقطت طبق الحليب فحطمته على الأرض. سحبت الباب وصفقته بقوة. وقفت أمي هناك مذهولة من هذا الفعل العنيف. ثم قادها أنفها إلى رائحة الحليب اللذيذة. جلست ومدت لسانها لتلعق سطح الحليب الذي أصبح ملوثًا ببعض الأوساخ. شعرت بألم لم تشعر به من قبل في ركبتيها، وسمعت صوت شيء ينكسر. ثم ساد الصمت.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
